Reminders and Announcements

Scholastic Books- I sent home a Scholastic book order form last week. Please fill out the order form and return it with a payment by Friday, September 3rd. If paying with a check, please make it payable to Scholastic Book Clubs. You can order online with our class username: msperea and the password: welovebooks. The class will receive a free book with every online order!

Entertainment Books- Sell, sell, sell! Please support La Paloma Academy and sell those Entertainment Books! The class will be earning class money for every book they sell!

Water Bottles- It is important for your child to keep a water bottle at school in order to cut down on visits to the drinking fountain during lessons. They will be kept in the classroom during the week, but must be taken home on Friday to be cleaned and returned on Monday.

Superhero Day- dress as your favorite superhero

September 10- Honor Heroes Night Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Program starts at 7:00.

Homework

Reading Logs
Reading logs are due tomorrow, August 31st. Please make sure that every entry has a parent’s initials. Thank you!
Math
This week, the students will bring home a math worksheet for each night.

Spelling

This week’s spelling words are assigned by your child’s literacy teacher.
