The Botanical Gardens

On January 29th, Ms. Perea's class visited the Tucson Botanical Gardens to enjoy the beautiful gardens and experience the Butterfly Magic exhibit, where the students were able to see butterflies from Africa. The children learned about earthworms, were able to observe incubating chrysalises, and spent time in the Greenhouse where they were able to experience a tropical climate and get a close view of the magnificent butterflies. If they stood still, the butterflies would land on their hands, as shown in the pictures below. It was a fascinating experience for all!
